We have exactly 6 hours and 6 minutes of the year 2009 before we say hello to year 2010. And as the year comes to a close and the new year beckons, we look back on the past months and think about all the things that took place that made 2009 special. I've been doing a lotta thinking today and I think I'm really gonna miss this year.
Usually at the end of every year, I get a teeny bit anxious. This year seems to be coming to an exceptionally quick end and I am reluctant to let it go. And with SPM next year I suppose I should be even less keen on starting the new year. But you know what? I'm not. I'm actually pretty psyched. Because I know that with a little bit of faith, I can accomplish a lot. So how about adding more of that faith to my plate? :) I expect next year to be full of challenges. But I also expect it to be as full of new and amazing experiences. New responsibilities await me and I can only say I'm looking forward to them. I know He has a great plan for me. All I have to do is work hard to turn it into reality and live out that plan to the fullest.
My resolution for the year 2010? Hmmm. To live it as He would want me to and have no regrets by the year's end.
So.. What's yours? :)
"And hope does not disappoint us, because God has poured out his love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, whom he has given us." [Romans 5:5]
Face the new year with optimism, friends. & God bless you all.

Summer now.
I'm back! (it's an exclamation not because I'm ecstatic that I'm home but because...well, because.) I didn't officially announce I was going on a vacation so for those who did not know, I was on holiday in Spain and Portugal for 12 days. I've got a ton of pictures to show (which are all being uploaded at this very moment) and tons of stories to share. :) I won't blog much about the trip, though, because I don't think I'm good enough at blogging to make my long stories sound any interesting. Hehe. For you lucky (or unlucky, however you take it) ones who will be meeting me during the hols while I'm still on Spanish high, you'll be getting an earful of my ramblings about the trip and how much I miss it. A whole damn lot. Haha. Anyhoo, I had a great deal of fun experiencing autumn in Spain and Portugal and met some really nice people who were on the tour with us. Will update soon. ;) Tata for now.
