Champion Novak!

Novak Djokovic is now the reigning Aussie Open champ!!! whooohooo!!

I watched the match live last night and it was completely exhilarating! haha..i'm glad he won. me and Ash were cheering him on the whole 3 hours through. =D
the Serbian cutie is such a character...his humor and charm earned him the nickname "The Joker"...he has a great sense of humour and provided ease when there was tension around.
+ he's hot. *crush alert*

he actually lost his first set against Tsonga and it appeared like Tsonga was gonna win...but thankfully his confidence came back and boosted his ego. much to the dismay of daddy...hehe..i so love it when he makes faces and all and pumps his chest...so his trademark now.
He did get some boo-ing from the crowd cause of his habit of bouncing the ball up to more than a dozen times and his attitude as well for screaming at the crowd who, majority of them, were supporting Tsonga. But the crowd weren't exactly polite, anyway. they were a little mean towards him and he knew he wasn't the crowd favorite to win. He did apologize in the end. good.

We'll definitely be seeing more of him in the future. finally! someone who can beat FedEx at his game..up & coming Novak! =D

so i just talked to mom..might be easy to get through to her. but dad....that's another story... i have like 30/70% chance of going for the Switchfoot concert. yay. but now we gotta book like ASAP so Aidee, Lipeng, I need your answers N.O.W! please say yessssh. my mom says she wants to get to know more first, like she wants to listen to some of their music....haha. haven't done that + haven't told her the price. yet. told her i'll be going with my 'music friends'...haha.

Mom : "So who's going?"
Me : "My music friends......."
Mom : "Like who?"
Me : "Uhm, Aidee--"
Mom : "I knew her name would come up!"
Me : "Haha yeah. and Lipeng."
Mom : "Lipeng?"

A sad end

From great news to a tragic one, I'm saddened to post on the death of Australian actor Heath Ledger. I was extremely shocked when my sister told me the news. I couldn't believe it! Heath dead? no way. But sadly, it's true. At just 28, Heath died from a drug overdose yesterday.

I absolutely loved him in his movies like 'Casanova', 'A Knight's Tale' and '10 Things I Hate About You' which was 1 of the first movies I ever watched. His death is so shocking. I almost cried. I admit I can get a little too obsessed with Hollywood but this really is incredibly shocking. I'm so sad. Shell-shocked, in fact. Double the fact that he also has a young daughter of just 2? And he was due to premiere his new movie where he plays The Joker!
Well, life goes on, i guess.

oh my gooooooosh..i'm in absolute excitement!!! aidee delivered the awesome-st, most thrilling news...& i nearly SCREAMED! well, i did, actually. at her. i was like, "WHHHHHHAAAAAAAAAT?????!!!!!!!!". haha. almost everybody knows the book 'Twilight', right? i mean those who are into thick, big, addictive....novels. anyway, i've been longing, waiting for them to make a movie on it..& the news finally came!!!! They ARE!!! YAYs!!!
The great news ain't ending there. guess who is to play Edward Cullen??? none other than 'Harry Potter' cutie Robert Pattinson!!! spot-on choice! *celebratory dance*.=D so HA-ppeh...! and playing opposite him as Bella? That'll be Kristin Stewart! Some y'all might not know her but she's also acted in 'Catch That Kid'. along with Corbin Blue. What a cute couple they make! perfect for Edward and Bella.

Kristin gives this vibe of being tough but also vulnerable at the same time which is totally like Bella, so I'm glad. =) Robert? well, he's HOT. and totally fit for Edward. if you read the book, you'll know why.

i was just thinking (yeah, i do that sometimes..), you know all those quirky, weird, fun scenes you see in movies? wouldn't it be cool if we could actually visit them?? like for example the movie "Cat in the Hat", the sets are so cool, aren't they??

ooo, now my school's starting a club for cheer-leading...at least, i think. as part of co-curriculum. so my friends & i are planning to join, you know, instead of ping pong & netball & badminton...deaa-aad boring....yeah, what a laugh, right? i mean, c'mon...me? cheer-leading? i'm not sure whether i'll even qualify to join! there'll also be a school team, so dunno whether they're serious or not...*swooosh*

=) that's all i guess.
like firda just told me, "can't believe we're sitting for PMR in less than 12 months."...

well, ain't nothing special.
but let's juz say it'll take some time for us all to get use to the pitch-darkness & well, everything...
i've started this post on a miserable few notes so let's turn things round!
i'm so thankful to the LORD for the class i'm in now! i've been praying like hard that i'll get into a good class & i did! though with only a few frenz-a-mine & a whole lotta Smarts, i'm happy. anyway, this ain't the year to hang about with friends, rite? sigh...sad though, Nana didn't get to be in the same class..='( miss ya now, gurl. i mean we barely see each other before skul & then we're way up the block while u're downstairs...

i'm glad that i got these really cool teachers who are really good, too. YaY!
really, God's blessings really brings J O Y. there's no one else i can look to with thanks.
i was already tip-toeing on the line separating the HIs and LOWs. so yeah..
my mom's getting like super strict right now like we can't use the comp anymore during the weekdays..fine with that.
but now she's also putting me & my sis on a budget for clothes shopping...waaaaaah! no way. & the budget's ridiculous. =(( but it also just makes me realise how much i really do spend on clothes. & it's good in a way.
so i guess everything's going well, fine. i'm satisfied.

this is gonna be a HUGE year.
